Day 4 Week 1

Erna:

Exercise:
  • Treadmill run - random setting - 20 minutes @ 10 mph for 2 miles
Food Journal:
  • Breakfast: Activia yogurt mixed w/protein powder & 3/4 c. Kashi Go-Lean Crunch
  • Snack: protein shake
  • Lunch: Sweet Tomatoes - lg. salad w/lots of veggies & red wine vinegar dressing on the side; 1 cup broccoli salad; 1/2 sm. sweet potato w/salt, pepper, cinnamon; 2 bites fat-free frozen yogurt
  • Snack: protein bar; handful of grapes
  • Snack: 6 sm. bison meatballs; brown rice cake w/sunflower seed butter
  • Dinner: grilled chicken; veggies; 1/2 apple
WOW!!! I struggled today. I wanted a coke SO bad. I haven't had one in 2 weeks and was feeling the need today. I resisted the urge - yea, me! I don't think I had enough water today - felt very hungry all day.

If I wasn't posting about prayer and scripture study it would be a lot easier to "do it tomorrow." Struggling with the need to try to be perfect...

Exercise:

  • Run - 4 1/2 miles outside - 38 minutes

Food Journal:

  • Breakfast: protein shake w/banana; oatmeal mixed w/ applesauce
  • Snack: Spicy V8; sliced turkey
  • Lunch: "gross" salad w/carrots, spinach & fat-free Italian dressing; canned chicken w/light miracle whip
  • Snack: turkey & cheese; Activia yogurt
  • Dinner: grilled chicken breast; green beans; 1/2 apple
  • Snack: 4 bison meatballs; 12 canned pineapple chunks (no-sugar added)
* Way to go, Chris! That is a much better food journal than yesterday. :)
