Zoo

The girls and I met Callie at the Wildlife Zoo today. We haven't been in a few years and it was so much fun - HOT but fun. When we got home I asked the girls what their favorite part was. Ry said "EVERYTHING!" and Elle said "the sting ways." My favorite were the stingrays, too. The new aquarium alone was worth the new higher cost to enter the zoo - all things underwater make me want to go scuba diving. I even have Callie convinced to try it out someday. Feeding the stingrays was quite fun. The girls decided to be brave and give it a try - those things went wild - Elle and I were given a good splash which gave us both a scream. Too bad I left my camera at home, though it was nice to just enjoy and not try to get every picture I could. Elle is not a fan of the camera these days and we both get too frustrated in the end.

I found out today that Chris has never been to the Wildlife Zoo. How did I not know this?!?! I don't care to visit the zoo too often, but give me a break! You have lived here your whole life and have never been?! We will have to make a trip out there with him when the weather is a bit cooler - 90 degrees is just too hot.

Thank you Callie for inviting us to the zoo. We really had a lot of fun hanging out with you. We need to do stuff like that more often. Love you Sis/Auntie!

How fun! We went to the Phx zoo (with my family) and I thought it was way to hot also. I want to go to the Wild Life Zoo before we move to see the new aquarium! I'm glad to hear that someonw liked it!

Ok, so can we tag along? We've never been to the Wildlife Zoo either. (You do mean the one out in north phoenix, right?) You're a great mom for taking them in the heat. It's supposed to cool down again so maybe we can ALL go on a Saturday.
