There was a total of eleven kids and six adults at the movies - we took up almost an entire row at the IMAX theater. After the movie we went to the park. It was a very cold day and everyone was freezing! However, presents, pizza and cupcakes are a wonderful distraction from the cold. Ry had an amazing day and is already trying to decide what she wants to do for her birthday next year.

Here's a few interesting things about Ryleigh...

• She is quite the social butterfly and loves all of her friends and cousins so much. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't ask to have a friend (or friends) over.
• She LOVES watching TV. Some of her favorite shows are Hannah Montana, Suite Life with Zack and Cody and Sonny with a Chance, just to name a few.
  
• Gymnastics - After 3 years of begging, we finally signed her up for her birthday. You can't wipe the smile off her face the entire hour she is in class. At the end of class each Tuesday, she immediatley begins the countdown 'til the next week's session.
• Favorite Color - Rainbow
• Best Friends - Hannah Hinton, Camille Scoffield, Sophie Horton, Rachel Leonard, Gabe Manning & even her sister Ellie (most of the time).
  
• Kindergarten Boyfriends - The 1st couple months of Kindergarten, it was A.J. Cannon. She has now moved on to Ryan Kraska (i.e.,Ryan K.). His mom told us at Kindergarten promotion that he had recently informed her, "I'm all done with girls! I'm done with all of them.... except for Ryleigh." I even overheard her telling a friend that they are in love. We are in some serious trouble.
  
• Cooking - she loves to help me cook, mostly because she gets to taste the food as we go. Not sure I can blame her. One day she called me into the kitchen to see what she had made. She had decided to make her own guacamole, and did so all by herself. It was actually delicious - she added the perfect amount of seasonings.
• Favorite foods - Fajitas (only at Fajita's restaurant); Daddy's spaghetti; salad, Mom's salmon; chips & salsa; Daddy's chili; steak with "dippy" (a/k/a - A-1 Sauce).
• She LOVES candy and will take it over any other dessert, any day of the week. Anything fruity and chewy will do. No chocolate needed for this girl.
• Music - Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Plain White T's, Beastie Boys (blame Chris), Taylor Swift, and anything on Radio Disney.
• She is a great speller and received 100% on all but one of all her spelling tests throughout Kindergarten.
  
• Ry and Elle are such great friends and love each other so much. They enjoy playing make-believe pretty much whenever they are together.
  

Mommy and Daddy love you so much, Ryleigh, and are so grateful to have you in our lives. You are such a sweet and loving little girl, in spite of your extremely strong and stubborn personality (maybe a little too much at times). I wonder where you got that wonderful trait... You have a great heart and so much love for your family and friends. We couldn't begin to imagine how boring our world would be without you in it.
